Annual Bass Pro Santa Trip

We may not have many traditions in our family-mostly bc my husband is not a tradition man or his family-but we have been to see Santa every black friday since Baylee was born. So now it is a tradition mostly because my older kiddos know that we go on that day! We love Bass pro Santa set up. It is AWESOME! They are so much fun with the kids and this year they had a carousel! It was cute! Theirs lists are a mile long so I hope that Santa can come through. My question is- Why when they get on Santa's lap do they ask for one thing but at home they have a list for us??!?!?! I guess I will always wonder that!

Happy Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving was a little different. Two of our three were gone! I must say I did not enjoy that! I like for all of us to be together for holidays. We were planning on going to Shreveport for Thanksgiving but ended up not going so that we could spend time with my family this year. The inlaws already had a lot of fun plans for the kids so we let them go. They left on Tuesday and came back home on Friday! We missed them a ton! We enjoyed Thanksgiving with Parker bub and my family. Of course I enjoyed my moms cornbread dressing! She makes it the best!
I did a little black friday shopping with my cousins and it was fun but I really enjoyed getting home early and shopping online and getting everything for the same price and free shipping! WHOOP WHOOP! Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving!

Happy 8th Birthday to my Big Girl!

I can hardly believe that my girl is 8!! She has grown so much this year and I am so proud of her. This year she wanted to have a sleepover girls party. It was somme FUN! We had about 10 girls at the party and 7 girls ended up sleeping overnight. They mostly played dress up the entire time. They would dress up and then put on a play. Love them! They were all so good and so glad that she is growing up with these girls!

Parker's first day at MDO

Yesterday was Parker's first day of Mother's Day Out. He did so well. We only had to go for an hour just to let him get used to his class but he just loved it. His cousin Bryce is in the same class also so we are hoping that they will take care of each other and not stay in trouble together. That was a big relief because I was really worried that he wasn't going to like it. You see he has been going to church nursery since he was 6 weeks old and the child has cried every single time he went. It is just in the last few weeks that he goes without a fight. Praise the Lord for that. Nothing is worse than hearing them cry for you.

Fun Friday Night

We took the kids to Gattiland on friday night. They had so much fun! We have been trying to reward good behavior at school so we thought this would be the perfect way! This place is AMAZING! The kids just had the best time ever. They have indoor go-carts, bowling, put put golf and it's a huge arcade. And did I mention that it's Gatti's pizza??? AWESOME!

It was safe to say that a good time was had by all:))

So the first week of school was..Well....Rather stressful! Yep, I think that is a perfect term for it!

It was a struggle to wake the kids up. It was a struggle to keep Parker asleep at 6am while getting the kids ready. It was a struggle to do homework.

Praise the Lord for new days and weeks though right?!?!?!


It has been a great second week and the kids are moving right along. We had wonderful grades from the first weeks tests!
Baylee and Braden each got 4 A's and each 1 B.

Now I know all of my hard work paid off with them!
