Happy 7th Birthday Braden!

I can hardly believe that time has flown by so quick! My baby boy is growing up so fast. This year for Braden's party we rented a big water slide for him. That water slide was so fast. We had two kids get hurt in like the first 10 minutes of the party. Thankfully things leveled out. Braden had a camo/hunting theme party and it was so cute. He loves to do that kind of stuff. He is such a sweet boy that brings so much joy into our lives. We love you so much Braden Kyle and are so thankful for you.

Honeybees

Baylee and her BFF(Shyanne) were able to dance with the NO Honeybees. I must say they went over and beyond to make this fun for all children and all ages. They spray painted their hair and had jumps for the kids. It was awesome. A good time was had by all.

After the dance clinic, we went to Coyote Blues. Our new favorite Mexican place. It is sooo good. All of the kids were great the entire night. I was a little scared of taking all three alone to an event like that but it was great and I am so glad we had this opportunity. Parker had a little virus come on while we were eating so we had to rush home!

Awards Night

I am so proud of Baylee and Braden. They both earned the Gold Scholar awards this year. They have to maintain a 3.75-4.0 GPA to receive this award. They have worked so hard. Esp Braden. Making good grades doesn't come as easy for him as it does for Baylee. He has grown so much. I am so proud of both of them.

Field Trip 2012

I was able to go on Braden's final field trip of the year. We had such a great time. I am rarely able to just spend time alone with him and I was so excited to go. We went and saw the movie Pirates and then played a little while at the theatre with his friends. After we went and ate at Chick-fil-e. He is such a cheap date. He gets that from his daddy. It was a great day and I am so glad I was able to spend it alone with him.

TIGER CUBS AND WOLVES OH MY!

Well, it is official, this boy is no longer a Tiger Cub. He has crossed over to a Wolve. He has so enjoyed cub scouts this year. He learned a lot and had fun at all of the events. I have also enjoyed watching him grow and become a great sportsman at all of the events and just have a great time. The adult had to go up and paint their face and give them their tiger cub stripes. It was so cute.

I am one proud, blessed, busy mammma!

Mother's Day 2012

This sista can't complain about her Mother's Day. It was AWESOME! My wonderful husband bought me this beautiful ring. I LOVE IT! I have not taken it off since then. If the ring was not enough- He had a date night planned for us. We went out to dinner at Copeland's and had some dessert. We walked the mall and finished the date at barnes and noble. Oh it was so fun to sit and read a magazine without being disturbed. I def think that my was favorite part of the day.

On Mother's Day we stayed at home most of the day and then went fishing. I love to fish so that made my day. We spent the evening at my moms house celebrating with her. I am so blessed!

"FIRE"

Baylee was in her school play "Fire" on tuesday and thursday this week. It was a great play and pointed out many great points. One that really stuck was that only 10% of people volunteer to help. I really wonder how that is possible sometimes. How can some people not see they are needed? How can some people know they are needed and not help? It is very hard to volunteer with three small children but Johnathon and I remain faithful to volunteering at church and I try to volunteer at school when I can be there to help.

Baylee was our little fire fighter. She did so AWESOME on the stage! I guess since she was still all geared up from recital she was in the groove. Her teacher Mrs. Easley did her make up for the play. I did some of it but she finished it. What are we going to do without Mrs. Easley next year. She has been such an amazing teacher for Baylee and has encouraged her so much. Oh I get so sad thinking about 3rd grade. Baylee's class is so close and they have grown to depend on each other and she has made some life long friends this year. tear tear. Moving on! Have a GREAT Mother's Day weekend!

Recital Day

Happy 6th year of dance to my sweet girl! We are so very proud of this girl. This year she took hip hop and it took a little while to get used to. She enjoyed it but it was def a lot faster than what she was used to. We were in the 6pm recital this year so it was a long day. Baylee and I went to the 1pm show to have KK ready for her dances. Everything went great and Miss Machita puts on the best performance-hands down. No one can even compare. She is and AMAZING women and I am so blessed to be able to send my daughter to her studio. Happy 40th Year Machita & CO!!!!

Hi, my name is Samantha and I let my 2 year old sit and watch movie after movie because it keeps him quiet and keeps me sane! Oh and yes I remember saying my children would not sit in front of the TV. Parker may get bed sores soon or chair sore should I say! That's all for now!

Twin Tuesday

I am so happy that Baylee has found a sweet friend and has been able to enjoy her 2nd grade year with Shyanne. I pray for her to always have close good girls to surround her. I hope she makes lifelong friends from Elm school on up. I still talk to my 2nd grade friends almost weekly. It's a blessing.

Saturday Fun

Saturday Morning we went and had breakfast at Frank's. Probably my favorite breakfast place and I had been asking for my main man to take me there. I took off Saturday for Jaylin's recital. After breakfast we took the kids to AgMagic. They had so much fun. They are at a good age to enjoy a lot of the things there. Of course the best part are all of the cute baby animals. The goats and lambs were soooo cute! After AgMagic Baylee and I dropped the boys off and rushed on to Jaylin's recital. She did a great job and we are very proud of her! We are gearing up this week for our dance recital. It is always a fun time for me as a mom. I always wanted to dance or cheer. Until next time:)

Spring Break 2012

This week I have had all three kiddos home with me. On Tuesday while Parker was at MDO, I took the older two to Chuck-e-cheese and they had a blast. It was also fun for me because I was not having to watch them the entire time. I enjoyed my time with the older two. It doesn't happen enough.

This week has been a little chaotic because we are all out of routine. I am a very routine person and need that and when daddy is away and mommy is alone, I seem to just go with the flow. Dishes in the sink, kids sleeping in every other bed except their own, and no set bedtimes. Yep that's how we roll on spring break. Just need to have fun sometimes and sometimes that means waiting until morning to do dishes and staying up late to watch that show that they have been wanting to watch. But with all those changes comes chaos!! Yep, it can make for some grouchy kids and a grouchy mama especially when mama bear is playing both rolls! We are all ready for daddy to come home! This week Baylee had her awards day and Braden started coaches pitch. I have no pictures from those. Some way in syncing my phone they are lost! I am hoping to find them soon! I mean how far can they go? I guess they got lost somewhere in the cord that connects from computer to phone! Anyway back on subject- This evening we went to the park and let the kids burn off some energy. They had a good time but Baylee was sick with a headache so we had to cut it short! Hope everyone is having a great week! Tomorrow my man returns:))

Soapbox Derby Parade

Baylee had the opportunity this past Friday to represent Braden's Den (Tiger Cubs) in the Soapbox derby parade. She had such a fun time and so did Braden. Braden and his daddy were able to ride in the fire truck in the parade since he was the only tiger cub that showed up so he was so excited about that. They had a little pageant with the few girls that represent the other dens. They throw all of the girls names in a hat and choose one. Baylee's name was not chosen but she still had a great time.

Easter 2012 Style

For Easter this year we went down to the "lot" and had a crawfish boil! I normally ask my father in law to boil crawfish for my Birthday so those chose to do it for Birthday and Easter:)
The kids love it down there because they have free reign and can run around and play outside all day. My husband tends to love it mostly bc he rode the jet ski all day! LITERALLY! All of the kids enjoyed riding the jet ski also. Fun times making memories.

Bahamas Trip

Of course I am so far behind on blogging. I just can't find the time in the day to blog even though I love to keep up with our everyday.

I figured I would start off with a post about our amazing trip to the Bahamas. Well we won this trip at Marriage Conference. Can I say AMAZING! The most dreadful part (for me) was the flight. I do not like to fly-at all! Our trip was awesome. I enjoyed spending 7 days with my man. We had time to talk and just enjoy each other. We were able to go to one of the top 5 beaches in the world-Gold Rock Beach. It was breathtaking. I really believe that heaven will have a beach like that. I can't imagine what the number 1 beach would look like!

As for our 3 kiddos, I don't think they missed us a bit! They were back at home with maw-maw and paw-paw enjoying the break from us. You know grandparents let them do some different things and of course they love it.

New Ride

The Booksh Bunch is no longer a mini van family. We traded in our van and bought a new ride! We are loving it! I never thought I would love something as much as my van but I must say I am loving my Sorrento. We are so blessed!
