Worse Pain in the world!

Today, I experienced the worse pain in the world. A kidney stone!Get this, I was on a shopping spree with Jessica. I started just cramping in my right side and then it just progressively got worse, making me vomit and all. By the time Johnathon was able to get me to the ER, I thought I was going to die. Once I got in the ER, they immediately took me back at Women's Hospital. Sorry to all the women in labor because they made them wait and took me :) I thought that I was not going to live through the pain. I started praying and felt something drop inside of me, and immediately, the pain in my side and back was gone! I got up and went to the bathroom and there was the culprit, a little black rock. I passed the stone on my own. I am so glad! They were talking about having to do surgery to remove the stone and all that fun stuff! I am now home and the pain in my side is still there but at the moment I don't feel like I am going to die.

Elmo's Green Thumb!

We went to see Elmo last night and the kids had a blast. The really just love Elmo. It is so funny because they never watch Elmo on TV but love to go see him on the big stage. We told the kids that we were not buying any of the junk that they sell at the show because they have went 3 times and have gotten the same things over and over. We gave in to them :( I must say they are spoiled rotten! We can't wait to go see Disney on Ice in May!

T-Ball and Camp

Baylee had her first T-Ball game on Saturday. She did a great job! She only had to swing at the ball 25 times to hit it! No, I'm just kidding! She really loves T-ball. I am sure she would have loved soccer but I missed the deadline for registration.

After the game we went to the camp. Johnathon and Mr. Kyle had somethings to do over there, so while they worked and got stuck in the mud, we played with the kids. I was able to get a couple of shots of the kids. They just love the "lot". Yes, that is my very good looking husband on the tree!

One year ago they told her he would not live and he is alive in the hospital again today experiencing the same thing. I am asking for everyone to lift him up in prayer. I pray for peace over his family. Let HIS will be done today. For he his an Awesome God and the Great physican!

Greeny or Not?!?!?

Okay, since before I have gotten pregnant with Parker, I had in my head for some reason that I wanted to use cloth diapers on my next child. I had been looking into it and realizing just how bad the chlorine in diapers was for your baby. Not to mention diaper rashes! So, I have looked into them and they are a little pricey but they save money in the long run! I think I need some support with it! I don't really know anyone who has used cloth diapers. Only people in the blog world! So, the question of the century is........Am I a "GREENY" for wanting to use cloth diapers????
So, this is the dill pickle. I am buying one cloth diaper and Braden still wears diapers at night in case he has an accident, so I am going to try it out on him. They are one size. I will re-post on this when I use it and see how it goes!

Weekend Getaway...

to Natchez. We went to Natchez this weekend to go to the Kelly's kids sale. Everything in the building was $2.97. We found some really good deals and even found things with our children's name monogrammed on it. How fun is that?!?!? To find a shirt that is $2.97 with a your child's name already on it. I found a couple matching outfits for the two little men that will be in our house at the end of the year!
We had a good time but by Saturday night we were ready to come home to our kiddos! But when we came home we were ready to go back. The kids hadn't really slept good for the 2.5 days we were gone and no nap on Sunday=DISASTER! Baylee literally cried for about 2 hours once we got home. I put her in bed with us and she sniffled herself to sleep after about an hour. That to me was just so sad! Hard to have patience though. After I picked her up she asked me, "Mom, why did we have to go sleep at 3different places?" Hard to explain to a 5 year old that is is very hard to find people to watch two kids for more than a night. Thank the Lord for the 3 different families that took care of them. It is so much of a change for them and honestly just not worth it. We will stick with our date nights once a month and get them back in the AM! I know some mothers enjoy it but after one day from my children I am ready to get them back! But I must say we did enjoy ourselves and relax some we just home bodies!!LOL!

Booksh Baby #3 is a BOY!!! Mr. Charles Parker Booksh will be arriving sometime in August. I must say I thought I was having a girl for a while and both of the kids wanted a girl but we are all happy about the newest addition to our family! Especially Paw-Paw Kyle and Daddy! Nothing more than a boy baby to carry the Booksh name. We are so excited to share the news with everyone. We will keep you posted on this wonderful pregnancy and this Baby Boy! We are heading to Natchez for the weekend to find some fun stuff for our 3 little rugrats!

Monday, March 9, 2009

Well, This weekend was a very busy weekend. Johnathon was out of town for a few days last week and he will be going out of town this week again. OH Boy!! A tale of whats to come! I really, really don't like to be by myself at home. I am going to be at my Grandma's very late in the evenings this week!! To start our weekend off, Friday night we went to the mall with the 3 kiddos in our family! Baylee, Braden and Kylee. They were great and we were able to get a few things done that we needed too! It was fun! We are getting used to the 3 kiddo thing as we will be there full-time in oh about 4.5 months.
Then here came Saturday, Johnathon had to go to work for a few hours so I was at home cleaning. Baylee comes in the room yelling at me, "Mom, there is a catastrophe in the livingroom!" I am not even going to get into that entire story with all my blog readers but as you know I have a 3 year old Boy and it involved a diaper! Thank you Lord for your saving GRACE! So, our day went along we took long naps and went to church to see Perry Stone. We had a wonderful time! After we went with the terrible trio to CC's Pizza. It was yummy! Then I get a call that we will be welcoming a new baby in our family-Welcome Baby Grace! 8lbs 6oz born at ohh sometime after 3am in the morning! We did not get home until 4:30am. Britt had the terrible trio for the night for us!
Here comes Sunday already! We cleaned the house and had the terrible trio back and put them down for a nap(and the mommy to be had one also) After nap time we went to City Park for a couple hours! Much fun! We had so much family time there! Johnathon had just as much fun as the kiddos! I only had an opportunity to get one photo and that is of Braden. Baylee would not stop and let me take one of her. We came home bathed the kids and chilled out in the bed since this would be our last night as a family for a couple of days until the wonderful huubby comes back home! Now its Monday! Here goes another week! Guess What? We should know what this baby will be by the end of the week! Yeah, I might tease all of you and make you wait until my ultrasound at the hospital which is on April 14. Have a good week!

A long week...

Today, Braden and I went to City Park with Lindsey and Ashley. We had a really fun time there. We packed a little picnic and ate there and let them play for a while. The park is really big, clean and such a nice place to be. We will definitely be going back there again for a play date.
I have had one long, emotional week this week. Johnathon has been out of town for a couple of days this week with work and it looks like he will be doing that more often than not. As you can tell I am not excited about that at all! I went to the Dr. on Wednesday for a check-up. Everything looks great! I am supposed to find out what I am having on April 14 at Women's. We are going to go a couple weeks before that to Angel Prints with the kids. We can't wait to find out what our new addition will be! It will be great to call this little wiggler by name. Yes, I mean a little wiggler! This baby wiggles around more than anything ever. I have already not been getting good sleep at night early on with this pregnancy. Gosh, that really stinks! I need me some sleep! Tylenol PM is a waste of money for me! Maybe one day here really soon the Lord will bless me with a full nights rest. I am looking forward to it!
On a happy note-I went and got a pedicure the other day because these feet looked awful! I really enjoyed it and it was relaxing for me. I am going to have a reunion with my hair dresser tomorrow, as it has been about 4 months since I have been there! I am sure she missed me and she was missed also. Thank the Lord for my hair dresser. Although, she is great, when you are not a full-time employee, it makes it a little harder to go drop that kind of money on yourself! But I am! I am ready also!! I am working on getting the kids a few outfits and going take their pictures for Easter. I need to get Baylee something. Braden already has a really cute outfit for Easter.
Please keep us in your prayers as things are a bit ruff these days and we are having a few different crazy situations going on in our life. We know they will work themselves out but by the hardest they are. We are praying for the Lord to open our eyes and the eyes of others to get through it. Sometimes people are so blind to their actions and words but are quick to point it out to others. Thank the Lord that I only have to answer to him! Some days we feel like we answer to many and try to satisfy many, when all we have to satisfy is HIM! Oh, and we do have to keep our teachers satisfied also! We Love You and until next time, The Booksh Bunch!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Last night we had the talent show and silent/live auction. It was so much fun! I really did not think that it was going to be fun, but SBC pulled it off and it was really a fun Saturday night. We had to make some brownies to help earn points for our family. Queen Mum baked all the brownies for me since I worked on Friday night. Thank the Lord for that women! Baylee was in the Talent Show and she got up on the stage and sang. She did a great job! She sang really loud and was so proud of herself.

After she sang, the live auction started! I had bid on a couple of items in the silent auction-one of which I lost by $2. It was a really cute diaper bag. They had a silent auction for the kids and we bid on a few things for them and they won! For the live auction, I really wanted this pretty picture frame and candle holder. We won it for $50 and it was nice to be able to donate money to the school to help out! We had a good time and I truly trust these people with our children's lives and education! It is a really good school and I see how much Baylee knows compared to children at other schools! Even Braden does better than others! We are praying for State accreditation for them. Thank you Lord for blessing us with a Christian school to send out children to. Thank you to everyone who attended the Auction and donating to our children! Below is a picture of the frame and candle holder that we won! Note the warm fire in the background that the hubby has going for us on this cold day!

Kudos to Healing Place Church! We were tired from getting home late last night and decided that we were going to stay home and not go to church this morning. We had church at home in our bed! Thanks to being able to watch the 10am service live on web cast! It was AWESOME! They do praise and worship and you can even tithe right from your bed, warm and in your pj's! Yay!
