Happy 6 Months Old Parker!

Some days it feels like six months has just flown by, but others feel like it has been the longest six months of my life. I must say Parker is my challenge everyday. We all adore him but he is our challenge. I think the game we all play in this house is: What can we do to keep Parker occupied and not crying! HA! I know pretty funny but has Parker been the first, He very well may have been an only child! He is so sweet, handsome, loves him mommy and everything you can imagine a six month old boy to be BUT if I had to describe him in two words it would be- HIGH MAINTENANCE! He is growing so much. Here are Parker's Stats this month:


-Weighs 15.7oz
-6 Month clothes
-size 2 diapers
-Number 2 baby food
-Eating 3 meals a day and a snack
-Still does not like vegetables-he has a sweet tooth but no teeth! tee hee!
-rolls over
-Starting to sit up
-talking and smiling all the time
-has been nicknamed "THE KING"
-Sleeping through the night
-LOVES Baby Einstein
-Growing to love his excersaucer
-very ticklish
-He got is first cold this month and antibiotics

Parker is definitely the king of the castle and we all adore his cute little face! Love you Parker!

Children's Museum on Break

We went to the Children's Museum over the Holidays and I totally forgot to post some cute Photos that we took of the kids. They always LOVE the Children's Museum and it is so cheap and so fun for them.

Baylee decided to dress up in a wedding dress and I saw the future flash before my eyes. They are growing up so fast. I love these kiddios

6 Years and Counting...

On December 20, it was our 6th Year Anniversary. It is so funny how you love someone so much but boy do they drive you so crazy! I guess it is because men and women are so, Totally different. For our Anniversary we went out to dinner and Christmas Shopped! I know-sounds so exciting. We had a blast and it doesn't take much to satisfy us these days! If we get 5 min alone-we are EXCITED!! I look forward to many more years with him. It is so hard to believe that we have been together for 11 years:)

Two Proud Men

On New Year's Day, Johnathon killed his first deer. We were so happy for him. He has not had much time at all to hunt in the past few years since we have been having a baby a year-but this year we got to thinking that we better start finding a way to feed all of these babies!
Braden was hunting with his daddy when he killed the deer-I asked Braden what happened and in his own little Man voice he replied, "That deer cut a flip Mama." Okay so I am totally grossed out but whatever! If it makes these men happy then I guess I will try to stomach it and cook some backstrap!

New Year, New Us

Well, I never even did a Christmas Post! We had a wonderful Christmas! Could not ask for anymore than we have. The Lord has blessed us so much this year. The kids had a good Christmas and enjoyed their gifts. As Baylee said, "We even got things that we didn't want but we love them also." This year I took them and to buy a gift to donate to church. They had a blast doing that and it showed them that it truly is better to give, than receive.

For New Years, we hung out and didn't really do much of anything. I enjoyed hanging out with my husband while he was off this past week. We took the kids to the Children's Museum and to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. I enjoy them being home with us.

And as for the King-He is still being the King and doing just what kings do:)
