There Goes my life

Our little princess lost her first tooth on Tuesday night. She came running in the kitchen with it in her hand, crying. She said, "Mom, I pulled my tooth out. I said "Did it hurt? Is that why you are crying?" She replied."No, it just really scared me." Guess she didn't comprehend when we told her that her tooth was going to fall out?!?!?

Oh, How I love my baby girl. That baby girl changed my life forever 6 years ago when we found out that I was pregnant. I used to listen to that Kenny Chesney song, There goes my life, the entire time I was pregnant. We had so many dreams and so many plans that we wanted to fulfill in our lives, but the God I serve had a bigger, more beautiful canvas for our lives.

If any of you know the song it says in the beginning of the song,"There goes my life. There goes my future, my everything." I remember feeling that way when I found out I was pregnant. Did I mention that I serve an "ON-TIME GOD?"

Towards the end of the song he sings "There goes my life. There goes my future, my everything, I love you! Daddy, goodnight."

Thank you Lord for my future, my everything, my princess. The love of our lives! The child that will change the world. The most generous child you will ever meet. The fastest learner. The child that lost her first tooth:)

Today, I am thankful that my newborn wakes me up every 3 hours with a cry. Today, I am thankful that my other two children have more energy in the afternoons than the entire LSU football team. Today, I am thankful for my husband who is out working 16 hours a day because he believes that God had a plan for me to stay at home with our children. Today, I Serve an AWESOME God. A God of Hope and a God that gives me peace. A God that gives and takes away:)

Homework:)

We had another first this afternoon-Baylee had her first page of homework! She had to draw a picture of her face and color in all the things she was able to complete on that page! She was so proud and it gave her some mommy time! I heart that girl!
Braden also wanted to have homework today so he colored on a page from school. He also went to the camp this afternoon with his paw-paw and shot a gun:( Can you tell how excited I was about that?!?!?!

Parker's First Bottle:)

Tonight we gave Parker his first bottle:) He did so great with it! I was sad that I missed that feeding with him but I know one day I will want to leave him for more than 3 hours! He ate 2 ounces! He is getting to be quite the big man!

First Day of Kindergarden and Pre-K

I know what everyone is thinking-Someone didn't wait their six weeks!! Yes, we waited our six weeks and our kids are 19 months apart but Baylee's Birthday missed the cut off so she is a year behind due to that really dumb rule:) They both had great days and were very excited to start school again. They didn't want to come home! We start a Full week tomorrow:)

Happy 3 Weeks Old Parker!

Parker went to the Dr on Monday and he is a growing little man! He weighed about 7lbs and was 19 inches long! I must have cream in that milk buddy! I thought I would post some pictures of Parker's not so Doctored hair, so that you can see what happens when you talk about a babies hair standing up on their head. Don King hair for real:)

Oh, I think all three kids are having bed head!!!

Stop taking pictures mom! I am getting sleepy:) I am determined to make this Day, the best Day Ever!!!!

Balloons, Balloons, and More Balloons

On Saturday we had our first little outing with three kids! It is an adjustment but it is going well. I think the biggest adjustment is feeding Parker. Being that I am nursing and all it is much harder to find a place to feed him. The kids are still adjusting so well and doing a great job.
We went to the Balloon Festival and it was beautiful. We also went to CC's pizza first and ate and they were having a back to school bash where the kids were able to get their faces painted! We didn't get to stay long at the festival because I wanted to get Parker out of the heat but the kids really enjoyed the petting zoo the most. I really wanted to do something with them before they went back to school. Not much else to say and Parker is hungry so enjoy the photos!

Lord, bless me all the days of my life that I may live to see my Children's Children. Psalm 128:6

As I look at my 93 year old grandmaw holding her Great-Grandson, I realize how blessed she has been all of her days. She has been through the hardest of times and is now able to sit and enjoy all the blessings the Lord has for her. She has lived to see more than her Children's Children. She has lived to see 13 Great Great Grandchildren! What an amazing testimony!

This weekend was a busy weekend. Johnathon worked on Saturday morning and then we went to my grandma's to let her see Parker. Of Course she thought that he was a doll:) Also, one of my all time favorite cousin's was in town and waited to see Parker also. It was nice to visit and have some time away from the house. After we left there we went to Baton Rouge to get a few much needed things since we were so unprepared when we came home with a newborn. My other two little rats went and stay with their Aunt Jessica over night and I was able to sleep in to 11am. It was wonderful. Things are still going great:) Of course I am getting more tired as the days go on but we will be fine. Before you know it he will be blowing out his first candle:(
I took a picture of him today because he was sitting in his bouncy seat for the first time. Can you tell that he loves it?? How about his Don King hair do? Oh yes, his hair stands straight up as soon as you wash it.My other two are doing good but can not sit still enough for me to get any pictures of them.
