CoCo

Say hello to CoCo! Our newest edition at the Booksh house. He is a guinea pig and very cute and lovable. I def hope that he doesn't smell our house up:-/

Gym:)

I took Baylee to see the LSU Gym team compete. She had a BLAST! It's the newest thing-Now she wants to try gym again. We did it for one summer and she did great but she still liked dance better. Well you know how age 7 is-they change their minds daily. I love this girl more than words. She changed my life 7 years ago and I love her to the moon and back!!

It's been one of those weeks. It has been one month since my daddy left us for a huge fishing pond. Since my daddy left us we have told the kids that Jesus had a big fishing pond for my daddy. My daddy loved to fish. Everyday is a struggle but everyday it seems to get a little easier to understand. The anger that I felt is slowly going away and the memories that I have steadily fill my mind. I will forever miss him.

I did manage to spend the day cleaning the house and taking care of the baby boy! It seems like I have had something to do every day for the past few weeks. The weeks off fly by. It is going to be a very busy week. I have to work the weekend and Baylee has her dance pics this Sunday. My big girl will be making her 5 year presentation this year. We are so very proud of all of her accomplishments. As for Braden, he is now registered for T-Ball year number 2 and will start in a couple weeks and our Saturday mornings will be full again. I wouldn't trade these days for the world. They will fly by so quick. It seems like just yesterday they were born.

Time

They say time heals all wounds....I don't believe that. Each passing day I miss my daddy more than I did the day before. It's only natural to wish that you had just one more chance with him. I thank the Lord for the peace and comfort that he has given me. That doesn't mean that I don't cry frequently and that I will not forever miss the man that raised me to become the person that I am today. I'm ready to get through the year of firsts. First Month, First Easter, First Father's Day, First everything. I will praise the Lord through this storm and look at those three beautiful blessings that fill my heart with so much joy!

My grandma found this photo of me the other day at her house. I was 19 months old and cute to boot:) I def think that Braden looks like me and maybe Parker a tiny bit but not sure.

Happy Wednesday! I need to go to sleep because I have a class in the AM at work that I am not looking forward to. Johnathon has been gone for 3 days and I tell you-You appreciate them so much more after they are gone for a few days. Those little things that they do are such a BIG help and you don't seem to notice them as much until you have to start doing them in addition to everything else you already do. I am thankful for my MAN today! Don't ever miss the opportunity to tell them either. I have missed that opportunity far to much in my life and I refuse to continue to miss those opportunities. Tell the ones you Love that you love them! Hug them! Maybe even a kiss! Tell them you appreciate them and take plenty photos so that you can remember all the little things that matter in life. PEACE, LOVE, AND BEDTIME!

These are the Good Times:)

It's the little things that matter the most in life. Don't ever let the opportunity slip away to capture those little things on camera:-)

WORK, WORK, and more WORK!

Work, Work, and more Work! We spent 14 hours getting Britt's house ready for their arrival on Friday. It was a very long day but at least we had some laughs and some fights (LOL) BUT we ended up getting it done very nice by 10pm and we were all tired! WORN OUT! I think we were always crazy by the end of the night so I told everyone to say cheese this would make it's debut on my blog. My momma-in-law didn't participate though. She turned her head:)

My MIL and I got up the next morning and "made a day of it" the next day,as we were told a few times! We had a fun day shopping and spending the day together. It was a very busy end of the week!

Wonder what's clogging up the toilet????

TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE! THANK YOU PARKER!

V-Day 2011 Style

So, today is Valentine's Day and it is a bittersweet day. It marks 3 weeks that my daddy has left this world and Johnathon is out of town this week. I miss my daddy so much:(

I did have a fun evening and went eat dinner with the kids and friends and even came home to tulips on my table. I know the question is How do you get flowers for V-Day when your hubby is out of town?!!? UMMMM......Wait for it.......He just calls his daddy and asked him to pick me up some flowers. HA! I love it. It is funny stuff! #MEN

Monster Trucks

Saturday night we took the older two to see the Monster truck show. They just had a blast. Baylee didn't really want to go at first being the girly girl that she is but she decided since her cousin was going-that she would go also. They both had a blast. They were both able to ride in one of the BIG trucks and they enjoyed it. It was so fun to see Braden's face when we first walked into the arena. His mouth dropped. A TOTAL BOY! I love it! We are making memories:-)

On January 24, 2011 my daddy was called home at age 50. He left an amazing legacy and until we meet again-I will hang on to every memory that we made with him.
