Rockin & Rollin

Today we spent the entire day getting things ready for Parker. Washing the bedding and car seat stuff. Packing his bag. We accomplished a lot. I am still debating on whether or not we are going to buy new bedding but we put Braden's old bedding on and it really looked great. You can tell that it was well kept! I know it doesn't seem like we should be getting things together yet but everyone must remember that Braden came unexpected 3 weeks from now! We want to be prepared this time so we are getting started. They say you should have things ready about 2 months in advance anyway. Well, I have things ready about 6 weeks in advance if things go well! I only have a few more things on our list to buy! Yay!

Weekend Getaway!

We went to Houston for a little getaway as a family to think and talk about all the busy things going on in our lives right now. We had a wonderful trip and sometimes all you need is a little getaway to help figure out where you are and want to be in your life. Not to mention it was father's Day and it is just time for us to start our own traditions with our family. We didn't get their until late on Friday night. On Saturday we slept in and took the kids to the pool. We went up and got dressed for lunch and went to Pancho's. It was good and the kids loved it. We then went back and had a nap and went to the Galleria for dinner-Rain forest Cafe. I love that place! It is the most interesting places I have ever been to. We love it and it is a must to get a VOLCANO every time we go.
I must say I really went to Houston just for one of those.
On Sunday, we took the kids to the Houston zoo. They really enjoyed it. It is a very nice zoo. The trip was over that quick! Super Fun! Things are great! Ready to add to our family. Parker will be here before we know it!

GYM-tastic!!!

Baylee is taking Gymnastics once a week for the summer. I can not even tell you how much she enjoyed it! She just looks like a little Gymnast in this picture. She talked about it all afternoon when she was done. She told me that she wants to take dance and gym this year. Holy Smokes??? I guess I am the one to blame for our very high maintenance daughter but her dad doesn't make things much better. When he came home she asked him would she be able to take both this year and he said YES! I know now why the Lord has only blessed me with one little DIVA. I could never afford two girls! They say that kids are only as expensive as you make them?!?!?!?!

Otters and all!

This year of swimming lessons went great! Baylee started out as her normal scared self but totally got into it this year! She moved up three classes this year and we are so proud of her. She is getting so BIG! She jumps off in the deep and swims with no floating devices! She is one Big Sister!
Braden on the other hand, started off doing just as good as Baylee but then he got a little scared towards the end which made for a ruff week with him. He ended up doing better than last year and moved up to an otter! He swims like an otter! He is so proud to be an otter this year. He was an angel fish last year which is the first stage and he didn't want to be an angel fish this year. We are so proud of both of our kiddos! It has been a fun summer so far even if I am 8 months pregnant in the heat. This is my last summer as a mother of two. We are so ready for the next stage in our life.

Happy 4th Birthday Braden!

Mr. Charles Parker Booksh

has already started giving us the blues with his last episode at the Dr, when he decided to hide his parts really well and made them think he was a GIRL! He looks just like his brother! He was moving around a little to much to get great pictures but seeing him in 3d was AWESOME!
