Happy Birthday Johnathon!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful hubby!
He is an amazing man and a wonderful father to our children! What more could a girl want?!?!? For his Birthday he wanted me to make quiche and red velvet cake! Both turned out GREAT and we barely had left overs. The inlaws came over and joined us and we had a great time.


Before the little party, the kids were playing outside in the fence and I just love to watch them. They are so careful with their baby brother and was trying to help them do all the BIG BOY things that he can't do yet on his own. Parker loves the outdoors more than anything. Well he loves a BIKE as mentioned before also. You would think he would like the orange one that he got for his Birthday but he def would choose the BIG BOY bike over his:-)

Parker's Birthday "DAY"

For Bub's Birthday we went to the zoo. The Stelly Bunch came with us and we had a good time. I made Parker his normal favorite breakfast- apple cinnamon oatmeal. I was going to make pancakes like we do every year but I knew he wouldn't like it as much as his oatmeal, so we broke the tradition. My little monkey is growing up soooo fast!


This is Parker at the zoo. He loved the playground today. This was the first time that he was able to walk around and play. He liked this little hippo. I guess it made him feel like a BIG BOY!

I bought this cute little cake from Target. It was soo cute and I couldn't resist buying it for him. I cooked dinner and we had cake and ice cream at our house. He enjoyed the cake but his tummy was a little upset.

We bought Parker a bike for his Birthday because HE TOTALLY LOVES A BIKE! If he sees a bike he will run to it. As you can tell he liked his gift. He looks like a motor cross WILD child!

Happy 1st Birthday Parker!

Parker today your are one! I am so thankful for the joy you bring to our lives. You have developed such a personality lately. You dance all the time. You love to call Bella. YOU LOVE YOUR DADDY BUT your mommy has your heart! You are definitely a firecracker. You have a bad temper and want things your way! WHO DOESN'T. You are our third born and we completely adore you. We can't imagine our life without you. You are our little miracle and we love you so much.

VBS Week

This year the kids had BLAST at the Baptist Church VBS. They really did a lot with the kids and I am very thankful for our local churches for giving their time. I love sending our kids to VBS because I enjoyed it so much as a child.

Parker even had a blast singing in and dancing in the program! Oh and yelling:-)

One Year Ago Today.......

I started the day off with a play date with Ashley and the girls. I complained all day about how I didn't feel good and I was so ready for Johnathon to be home from being out of town. When Johnathon got home I knew I had to go to the hospital. Something just wasn't right with me and my little boy I was carrying. Went in and ran tons of tests and never did I think in a million years I would have lived the next two weeks of my life in a hospital bed. I can remember everyday praying and thanking God for the many blessings he had given me and Praying that if something happened to me, that my baby would be okay. I remember everyday hearing the same things over and over-Your blood pressure can be fatal to you and your baby. We are going to monitor you very close. It was the darkest time in my life. I was alone everyday until Johnathon would get there. Thank You Lord for blessing me with an amazing husband who was there for me.
I am still amazed at how amazing our God is!!! 9 days after being in the hospital, Charles Parker Booksh was born a healthy baby and I was doing Great. We did end up staying several nights due to Parker being jaundice but I am so thankful for what a blessing he has been to us. Even though he parties all night long:-) I love you Parker!

Family Fun Day

On Tuesday, Johnathon was rained out and couldn't work so we decided to take the kids to the movie. This was going to be Parker's first time in the movie. All three did GREAT! It was the movie program and this weeks movie was Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. It was a cute movie!
After the movie we went and had lunch at the mall and then went looking for Parker's 1st Birthday present. We want to get him a bike. He loves bikes but mommy really liked this cool car!!! We had a wonderful day as a family and I am so happy we are able to do these things.

Fourth of July Weekend

I actually have not pics from the weekend. I had to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday-but we still managed to do some things in the afternoons. On Friday the kids had their "Family Night" at VBS. They did a great job and love going to VBS. After that the older kids left and went spend the night at the campground with maw-maw and paw-paw. When I got off of work on Saturday we went to the campground and spent the afternoon. They swam, rode bikes and we went to a little dance in the evening. DOGG(Better know as my father in law) made a wonderful jambalaya for dinner.
On Sunday, we went to my parents and stayed all day and spent time with my family. The kids were worn out. Mom rented a big slide for all of the kids and they just had a blast. It was nice to visit with family that I have not seen in four years. Always love seeing them. We had a wonderful weekend and the best part was me making double and triple time for working the holidays! YEAH!!! Hope you had a safe weekend.
