Paradise

Lord, Can you please take me back to paradise! I must own a beach house when we get rich! Nothing is more relaxing to me than to sit in a beach chair and watch our kids play in the ocean with their daddy. I am a lover of the beach! We had a ruff start with some ruff weather but it turned out great by the end!The kids had a fun time with their cousins! We were supposed to leave on Monday but they offered us another night for $100 so we just couldn't pass it up! Where on earth can you get a two bedroom condo for $100??? Hope you enjoy the pictures. We had a wonderful time!

Louisiana Satur-DAY

Today was Johnathon's company crawfish boil. We had a good ole time as you can tell! We had some out of town guests(Frank and Nancy) from Arizona. It was there first crawfish boil, and I must say they were no ROOKIES! They peeled those crawfish like one of us! Not sure whether they sucked the heads or not!LOL! We have enjoyed them being here with us and I know the kids are going to miss having the new faces at Maw-Maw's.
And how could you not end the day with some really sweet watermelon?!?!? Note the 2 one year olds tearing that watermelon up!
We were lucky enough to have our godchild for the weekend. He had fun but the kids were dragging him around like he was a baby. I must say, they are ready for their baby to come. At one point, Baylee took her belt off and was trying to whip him because he messed with her baby doll. I thought I was going to have to whip her!

Jambalaya Park

Today I took the kids to a little water park in Gonzales. They had so much fun!! The park was by far the nicest parks that I have ever been to. We stayed for about an hour and they played on the splash pad but then it started raining and the weather was looking ruff so we had to leave. They were not able to play at the regular playground today but I look forward to taking them every week. They are such a blessing and though they keep me going, I wouldn't change it for the world!


You know that we were only about 5 miles from Tanger outlets so I had to run by there and see what they had. NOTHING! I was able to get Baylee a couple of night gowns which she really needed. Is it just me or am I the only who hates to buy PJ's for my kids because they cost so much money??? One night gown at Carter's cost $26! Can you imagine paying $26 for just a silk gown? I paid $13 and because I always look for good deals for our kids-I didn't think that was that great! Have a fun weekend!

Relaxing Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. We set the slide/pool up for the kids and they literally swam all day. They had a blast! I pretty much relaxed all day long in a lawn chair. I watched them and ate and watched them and ate! Ended my day eating! I am def. gaining an appetite with this little Man! My father-in-law hooked up some really good steaks for us!
Johnathon got me several things for Mother's Day, all of which I bought myself! We did have a short date on Saturday night since the inlaws offered to watch the kids for us. It was nice. We went and had gelato and went to the bookstore. Love the Bookstore! Hope Everyone had a Wonderful Mother's Day! Photos to come when I feel like uploading them!

Why even bother....

to catch you guys up on what has been going on in our life, when it has been so long??? Maybe pictures can get you updated and me motivated to blog more often!Sorry! I will try to do better with all of the fun things going on in the BOOKSH HOME! HUGS!
