On New Year's Day, Johnathon killed his first deer. We were so happy for him. He has not had much time at all to hunt in the past few years since we have been having a baby a year-but this year we got to thinking that we better start finding a way to feed all of these babies!
Braden was hunting with his daddy when he killed the deer-I asked Braden what happened and in his own little Man voice he replied, "That deer cut a flip Mama." Okay so I am totally grossed out but whatever! If it makes these men happy then I guess I will try to stomach it and cook some backstrap!
